Trevor Story is making quite the impression in the first three games of his career.
On Monday, he opened up the 2016 season, and his MLB career with two homers.
The next day, he hit another one.
And today, he wrote himself into the record books.
He did it again. He hit another home run. He became the first person in modern-day Major League Baseball to hit at least one home run in the first three games in his career.
Come on, admit it DBacks fans. That’s impressive.
So, at the ripe age of 23, he has already written himself in the pages of the MLB records book. Story’s making his-story.
But he’s not the only one starting this season with a pop. Robinson Cano has also hit home runs in each of his first three games this season.
And let’s not forget about Victor Martinez, who pinch hit in his first two games and hit a home run in each. He’s returning to his 2014-self.
Oh, and David Ortiz has hit a home run in each of his first two games so far. Nice to see Big Papi start his final season with a BANG.
