TOP 3 TEAMS OF THE MONTH:

Chicago White Sox- The White Sox may have traded two of its stars in Chris Sale and Adam Eaton, but they have changed the course of their franchise for the better. They acquired seven prospects, including four top-40 prospeects. Six of the seven acquired, Yoan Moncanda, Lucas Giolito, Michael Kopech, Reynaldo Lopez, Luis Alexander Basabe, and Dane Dunning have slotted into their revitalized top 10 prospect list. Besides adding prospects, Chicago did add a veteran arm to its rotation in Derek Holland for 2017. The White Sox now boast one of the top farms in the nation, and they still have valuable comoddities in Todd Frazier, David Robertson, Jose Quintana, and Jose Abreu. They are far from finished in their fire sale.

Boston Red Sox- This is what Dave Dombrowski does. We’ve seen blockbuster trades and signings from him for years. Last year, it was signing David Price and trading for Craig Kimbrel. This year, it was traded for Chris Sale. The Red Sox also acquired an underrated reliever in Tyler Thornburg and signed Mitch Moreland. This allows Boston to put Gold Glove defense at first base and move Hanley Ramirez over to DH. The Red Sox, however, did part with two of its most promising prospects in Moncada and Kopech.

Los Angeles Dodgers-The Dodgers goal this offseason was to resign its own free agents, and they’ve done just that. The Dodgers re-signed Rich Hill to a three year deal, Justin Turner for four years, and Kenley Jansen for five years. The Dodgers still boast one of the top farm systems and they may put it to use to acquire some talent, such as a second baseman in the form of Logan Forsythe, Brian Dozier, or Ian Kinsler.
