Way-Too-Early 2017 Rookie of the Year Rankings

I know the season has just begun, but it’s never too early to start looking at the award candidates for the season. The Rookie of the Year is probably the best to start with since there’s already a limited number of eligible players for the award. So, here are the way too early 2017 Rookie of the Year rankings! Make sure to keep visiting this post, as I’ll keep updating the rankings list regularly, at least until the next post a little bit deeper into the season:

The rankings are based on the average WAR between Fangraphs’ and Baseball Reference’s different versions. I will have a top-5 for hitters and a top-5 for pitchers for each league.

American League:
